FAQs

What are the sleeping arrangements? We offer a variety of accommodations to suit different preferences and budgets: Bunk Room: Our most affordable option, the bunk room sleeps 8 guests and has a shared bathroom. Tree-Houses: Unique and cozy, the tree-houses can be booked solo or shared by two close friends (queen bed). Please note that guests will need to walk down a 300 foot path to use the restroom. Private Room: For those seeking extra privacy, we also have a private room available. All spaces are designed to be comfortable and restful, giving you a chance to fully relax and enjoy the retreat.

What about food? Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? Yes! Meals will be nourishing, seasonal, and prepared with care by a local chef. We’re happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions and preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.). Please share your needs with us when you register, so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to Wise Pines? Tell me about the space. Wise Pines is a serene retreat property nestled in Woodstock, VT. Surrounded by trees and nature, it’s the perfect setting to step away from daily life and reconnect with yourself. Detailed directions will be provided upon registration, and parking is available onsite.

Is this accessible for all bodies? Our movement sessions are gentle and adaptable for all levels - no experience required. Please note that the retreat space itself does require climbing stairs, so it may not be fully accessible for individuals with mobility needs. If you have specific questions about accessibility, please reach out so we can support you.

Will I have my phone? We encourage participants to unplug during the retreat so you can be fully present. Think of this as a chance to take a much-needed break from screens. That said, we’ll provide an emergency contact number you can share with loved ones in case they need to reach you during your stay.

Who is this a good fit for? This retreat is ideal for anyone who identifies as a mother and is seeking rest, renewal, and connection in community. It is facilitated by therapists, but it is not group therapy. You can expect guided workshops, reflective practices, and restorative time in nature. If you’re curious, open, and ready to tend to yourself in a supportive environment, this is for you.

What’s the cancellation policy? All bookings are non-refundable. No exceptions, including for illness or weather will be made. We know life can be unpredictable, but because of the planning and preparation involved in creating this retreat experience, we’re unable to offer cancellations or refunds once you reserve your spot.

What’s the photo policy? We’ll have moments during the retreat when photos may be taken to capture the experience and the beauty of our time together. These images may be shared with participants and used for future retreat promotion. That said, your comfort comes first - if you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know at check-in and we’ll honor your preference.

What about liability? By registering for this retreat, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and are responsible for your own health, safety, and well-being. The retreat organizers are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, lost or damaged property, or other unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the retreat. We encourage you to listen to your body, honor your limits, and ask for support when you need it.
