We're so glad you're here!
At Emotions In Motion, we are passionate about empowering moms at all stages of motherhood. Our goal is to help you live a happier, healthier, and more connected life by providing the support and community to prioritize your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

We aim to create a space where moms can find the courage to challenge the toxic motherhood "shoulds" and busyness culture, and can slow down, rest, and focus on nurturing their needs. Drawing from personal experience and professional expertise, we're dedicated to helping moms live intentionally, prioritize real self-care, and feel empowered along their journey.
As women we are strong, and when we come together and lift each other up, we're unstoppable. That's why at Emotions In Motion there's a strong emphasis on groups, classes, and building an empowering community for moms to thrive.
Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much
– Helen Keller.

Our Values & Philosophy
We are stronger together! Feeling connected and part of something larger than ourselves is vital to our health and wellbeing.
We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive, and uplifting community where moms can feel a sense of belonging, foster supportive connections, and gain strength and empowerment from being in community with others who lift them up.

Hi, I'm Jessica!
Founder/Owner, LICSW/Therapist, Holistic Motherhood Wellness Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, & Yoga Teacher
I’ve been passionate about helping others improve their lives ever since I was a child. Somehow, I found myself in my 20's miserable in a fast-paced corporate job and ended up on the couch of a therapist, talking about how unhappy I was in my career. I pointed to my therapist and declared, "I want your job!" That moment led me to leave the corporate world and pursue a master's in social work.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a clinical social worker with children, teens, adults, and families, while also teaching group fitness, yoga, and personal training. I’ve seen firsthand how essential the mind-body connection is to overall well-being and how movement is a powerful tool to improve both physical and mental health.

After becoming a mother of two, I realized the immense challenges moms face balancing it all! I was inspired to start Emotions In Motion and harness the power of movement, community, and a holistic approach to mental health and well-being for moms while navigating my own journey through motherhood, observing the mental health crisis particularly in children, teens, and families, and seeing the overwhelming stress and burnout from moms trying to keep up with the unrealistic social and cultural norms and expectations placed on them.

Emotions In Motion blossomed during the pandemic, when community, connection, and safe ways to support our mental health were needed more than ever. As I continue to grow, so does Emotions in Motion, but my core mission of empowering others to live healthier, happier, and more connected lives remains the same.

In my free time I enjoy early morning walks in the woods with my goldendoodle, Ruby, being active in nature with my family, and working on my own personal growth and wellness. I also love connecting and collaborating with others who share similar goals and passion for helping improve the lives of others.
