As moms we spend so much time taking care of others' needs that it can be difficult to find the TIME, ENERGY, or MOTIVATION to prioritize our own.

However, when we are that HEALTHY, PRESENT, and BALANCED mom we know we can be, we are better equipped to handle life, attend to our family's needs, and show up as our BEST selves.

Hi! I’m Jessica, the owner of Emotions In Motion!  As a mom, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Health & Wellness Coach, certified fitness trainer, and Yoga Instructor I am passionate about helping moms feel their best physically, mentally, and emotionally. 

​

I harness the incredible power of being in community with others with shared life experiences and desired goals. If these last few years have taught us anything, it’s the importance of connection and community and what better way to foster this then through health and wellness. We know that physical activity can strengthen our body and mind, but it’s also a powerful tool to strengthening our connection with ourselves, our children/family, those around us, and our communities.

 

We are stronger together and when we move together, we are UNSTOPPABLE!

As a mom of two, I understand firsthand how challenging (and rewarding) parenting can be, the many barriers to self-care when you have young children, and the importance of having a support system of other moms who understand the daily struggles of motherhood. Navigating my own journey through motherhood has inspired me to create the much-needed community for moms to find their village and prioritize self-care so they can show up as their best selves.

 

A healthy and happy mom makes for a happy and healthy family!

In addition to supporting moms, I enjoy working with children of all ages to help them build confidence, improve self-esteem, and feel empowered to reach their full potential. My integrative approach focuses on developing a healthy and strong body and mind while also fostering their social-emotional growth and well-being through movement, mindfulness, connection, and fun! Part of this work is supporting and strengthening the many systems (school, family, community) that impact a child’s healthy development. With my unique set of skills and expertise I enjoy making physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and wellness fun, accessible, and something families and communities can do together.

In addition to my 13 years of professional experience, my personal practice and love for movement, mindfulness, and self-care inspires me to support others through their own personal health and wellness journeys.

​

In my free time I enjoy walk and talks with friends, being active in nature with my two children and husband and working on my own personal growth and development. I also love collaborating with others who share a similar passion and enjoy being innovative so reach out!
